About

Dr. Adam Cavallero is a primary care physician who practices at Moody Court in Thousand Oaks. He is board certified in internal medicine, and uses a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat complex conditions. He is fluent in Spanish, and is a strong advocate for his patients and their families.

Dr. Cavallero received his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and New York Medical College. During his medical education, he was named chief of the pre-internship program at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was named senior resident of the year in 2012. He received his undergraduate degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.

Before coming to UCLA Health in 2015, Dr. Cavallero practiced primary care outpatient medicine at the Sansum Clinic in Lompoc and hospitalist medicine at Lompoc Valley Medical Center and Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara County. 

Dr. Cavallero also serves as a Regional Medical Director and is actively involved in UCLA Health's expansion into the Central Coast. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Cavallero loves spending time with his beautiful wife and 3 children. He credits all of his success to God and the endless support from his precious family.
