About

Dr. Arthur Ohannessian joined the UCLA Dept of Family Medicine in 2011, after obtaining his medical degree from the UCSD School of Medicine and completing residency training in Family Medicine at UCLA. His scope of practice includes providing full spectrum primary care, in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, including obsterical care. As a core faculty member, he is actively involved in teaching both residents and medical students at UCLA. His professional interests include providing high quality care to underserved populations and works closely with the Los Angeles County Department of Health at the MidValley Health Center to provide comprehensive primary care. In addition, he is currently involved in a Primary Care Consortium in partnership with the University of Southern California and Charles Drew University to address the present and looming workforce shortages in primary care. During his free time, Dr. Ohannessian enjoys playing basketball, watching all things NFL related, and attending live concerts.
